The Migrant Writers of Singapore (MWS) will host the inaugural ‘International Migrant Literature Festival” from 10:30am to 6:00pm at the Central Public Library, Programme Zone, Singapore. The Festival shines a spotlight on writers of migration backgrounds, and will be attended by prominent Singapore poet Dr Alvin Pang as Guest of Honour.
The festival, held on the week of International Migrants Day, features a series of events which showcase the diverse literary talents of migrant writers celebrate global connections in person, or join the festival remotely via Zoom.
In this project, I was tasked to design a fresh look of branding collaterals (including posters design, event schedule, slides and social media (facebook and instagram).
I have developed a new brand new logo and art direction for the International Migrant Literature Festival. Built around a vibrant visual language of pastel colours and speech bubbles, the new look enhances the experiences for the migrants workers and the public.
